FRANKFURT AM MAIN, Germany — January 29, 2025 — Following a successful 2025 edition with increased participation from visitors and exhibitors, Heimtextil is set to capitalize on further growth opportunities with a revamped hall structure for 2026. This strategic update aligns with the evolving needs of the textile industry and aims to create a more targeted and efficient experience for participants. As the leading global trade fair for home and contract textiles and textile design, Heimtextil is refining its approach to better connect product segments, streamline visitor journeys, and foster innovation.
With the updated hall structure, Heimtextil builds on its momentum from 2025. “Heimtextil 2025 was characterized by increased internationality and demand. In 2026, we are using this strong starting position to align the range even more closely with the needs of all trade fair participants by strategically selecting and combining relevant product groups – and thus to leverage further growth potential,” said Olaf Schmidt, Vice President Textiles & Textile Technologies.
Reinforcing Heimtextil as a Platform for Industry Collaboration
The new layout strengthens Heimtextil’s position as a comprehensive platform for both textile and non-textile interior design. Designed to foster synergies, exhibitors will benefit from overlapping visitor profiles and increased efficiency, as multiple entrances streamline access for buyers. By integrating core content like Heimtextil trends, the fair enhances manufacturer visibility while also creating fresh opportunities for business connections.
Textile and Non-Textile Interior Design at the Core
The redesigned hall layout highlights high-quality textile and non-textile products for interior design, decorative applications, and furniture fabrics in Halls 3.0, 3.1, and 4.1.
- Hall 3.0 will focus on “Interior Design Concepts: Window, Wall & Floor,” showcasing wallpaper, digital printing, curtains, floor coverings, and sun protection. These offerings are tailored for interior decorators, designers, DIY stores, and retailers.
- Halls 3.1 and 4.1 will feature decorative and upholstery fabrics, contract textiles, outdoor fabrics, imitation leathers, as well as fibers and yarns. Highlights include the Interior.Architecture.Hospitality Library in Hall 3.1 and a design installation by Patricia Urquiola in Hall 3.0, serving as a creative hub for architects, designers, and hospitality professionals.
Bedding, Textile, Designs and connectivity
Hall 4.0 will host the “Smart Bedding” segment, presenting comprehensive solutions for bedding, mattresses, blankets, pillows, and sleep systems.
The nearby “Bed, Bath & Living” segment in Halls 5.0, 5.1, 6.0, and 6.1 ensures convenience for bed retailers, hoteliers, and specialist buyers, with products like bed linens, bathroom textiles, and home accessories.
In 2026, Textile Design will move to Hall 6.1, where creative studios and CAD/CAM suppliers will be located alongside the “Heimtextil Trends 26/27” area, aligning fresh designs with upcoming collections.
Expanding Carpets and Flooring
In 2025, the Carpets & Rugs segment tripled its exhibitor count. In 2026, this growth is supported by the addition of the “Flooring & Equipment” segment, which will showcase both textile and non-textile floor coverings, including cork, laminate, parquet, and outdoor solutions. Located in Halls 11.0 and 12.0, these segments provide a seamless experience for architects, interior designers, and DIY professionals while opening new business opportunities for retailers and craftsmen.
Proven Concepts Continue: Global Home and Global Home Excellence
The popular Global Home and Global Home Excellence concepts will continue in 2026, with international manufacturers and country pavilions located in Halls 8.0, 9.0, 9.1, and 10.1-10.3. Close proximity to the Carpets & Rugs and Flooring & Equipment segments fosters valuable synergies and strengthens Heimtextil’s position as Europe’s largest sourcing platform for high-quality home textiles.
